Eyrie House – Kangaroo Valley, NSW

The Eyrie House sits and observes the morning fog, rain and last rays of sunlight in a continuous show of nature and weather in Kangaroo Valley. Perched on a steep exposed site, architecturally it uses the language of large eaves and sliding timber screens as protection from the elements. Built locally, it is robust and secretive.
